No salt/flavor??

I wanted to love this chili oil SO bad. Had it tasted good I would've become a regular orderer, even from here in the States. I specifically searched for chili oil/crisp that was made with a high quality, healthy oil, as opposed to the typical cheap seed oils used in all the popular brands, so I was very excited when I found this for a decent price and my package arrived.

I excitedly opened the jar for my first taste test and was shocked to find that there was absolutely NO seasoning at all! It just tasted like pure oil with dried chilis in it. I had to literally pour salt into each jar then sit there and meticulously mix it in as best I could; even then it still lacked flavor.

I'm confused about the decision by this company to not season their chili oil (something that is added to food to ENHANCE the flavors) but it is quite frustrating and bizarre.

For this reason only, I unfortunately won't be purchasing from them again. It's a real pity because I love the avocado oil/olive oil, however, lack of taste is something I just can't look past.

SO delicious and goes great with everything!

These sauces are absolutely amazing and taste very high quality! The flavours are incredible and I love that all the CC sauces are made with all-natural ingredients, so I don't have to worry about about unhealthy additives. The bundle also makes a lovely gift!
